Bombetta London's menu draws inspiration from the Italian farming communities of Puglia where villagers would gather together at the butcher's shop to eat pieces of meat that had been rolled up with cheese and cured meats and then roasted over a fire. These meaty treats are Bombetta, and this idea of communal sharing of simple dishes and delicious meat on sticks is what Bombetta London have now brought to Wanstead. I don't know about you but that sounds pretty good, huh?
I haven't written one of these for a little while because I went on holiday for a bit. IS THAT OK WITH YOU?! Anyway, to make amends this week's London food news is a bumper crop of FOUR different restaurants all offering 50% off food! Damn, it's good to be back...
Like any good night out, I ended my Antico experience feeling full of saturated fat and shame, with the sense that I could probably do it all again tomorrow.
